He's a good guy!!
I knew it. Scooby is a playa.
So it was an interesting weekend! I saw a bunch of Dub buds, met some Gophers, watched an excellent (yet depressing) Irish game, and got into a fight with the dewy grass in some random lawn in Minneapolis. For three hours. Apparently?
Honestly, when a weekend includes Chipotle, could it possibly be bad?
Anyway, after letting half of the City of Lakes know that I was displeased with the result of the MSU game, I went with Emily over to chill at a former DP student's fly pad. During the course of the conversation, it came up that an absent member of the apartment household was the one-time love interest of our beloved Scooby Capecchi. In fact, their star-crossed, 15-yr olds' relationship was never officially terminated. A short time later, said roommate returned and, as reality slipped away, Lizett witnessed via a (shortly thereafter, dead) telephone how "good of a guy" I think the chap is and how the poor roommate was seriously missing out.
It was then time to wake the neighborhood.
"Sparty the Spartan...*mumble mumble*...the most recognizable college mascot...*mumble mumble*...but nobody cares!"
Emily took very good care of me, too! ("All I can see is a mash of Asian... not a massive Asian... a mash of Asian!") Thank yooooooooou!!!! Having her here was a blast, as usual. ROCK.

I particularly enjoyed the repetition of things nobody cares about, particularly:
1) MSU football
2) UM football
3) Sparty the Spartan
