Blog this.
What is a "blog?" The !33ts among us will clammor out of the woodwork, breathlessly trying to beat the next guy to tell you that it is a "Web Log... Weblog... Blog." Unfortunately for the sane, this doesn't fully describe exactly what the intent of a "blogger" (One who "blogs") really is. Is it a journal? Possibly... but journals have existed for years (or ages, if you feel the need to dismiss modern technology in favor of ye ol' quill). But how could it be different? There have been stories of the mainstream media running in fear of blogger mobs, so is it possible that blogs are a news source? I suppose that it probably is. Most, of course, will describe blogs as a blend. They are an avenue for venting ideas and frustrations about situations that other may find interesting. An example would be the blog of a postal worker... detailing exactly how disgruntled he is becoming and why this is important to you. I, personally, disagree with all of the above. As a bored employee and a graduate of the University of Notre I Check Away Messages Religiously Dame, I thinks blogs exist for the entertainment of people who may vaguely know who you are. They may not really care about where you are or what you are doing... what you think about politics, girls, or telephones... but simply want something to read other than what the Canadian Forestry Service is doing to combat Wildland Wildfires. So this is my blog.
