Ya know...

I don't even want to get into what happened on Saturday. Except to say that I was actually realistic (and right on) when I called our record back in August. Rough breaks.

But I can say that I did get to see a little revenge exacted. Indeed, I watched as the recipient of the "Bush Push" was intercepted in the final seconds of his attempt to overthrow the vicious scourge of the north, the Minnesota Vikings. From the second row. From the SECOND row. Emily's father came up with Jolly George generously bearing 4 tickets right near the grass in the pleasantly heated HHH Metrodome. This being the very first NFL game I'd ever attended, I was quite excited to see how it was done. A dome dog and a $6 brew are surprisingly delicious. It was a great way to end the holiday weekend.

Anyway, over the weekend I saw a ton of old schoolmates which was, as usual, both fun and exhausting. It was a rocking time. Emily rocks, Sarah is an "extreme cutie," Michael keeps... doing his thing, The Blue Eyed gopher was in classic form, her cousin was not, 400 people I knew were there, and I think I managed to get lung cancer.

Oh, and I did my part for the herd this year. I got my flu shot. Take that, influenza.

I didn't know I was doing it for the herd. Mostly I was doing it to spite influenza.
