Fall
Yesterday I needed to quickly transport myself from home to the salt mine and back. The fastest way to get there is by bicycle, so, naturally, that was the mode I selected. It took an entire episode of Family Guy for my ears and throat to stop burning afterward. I was practically in tears. So, I guess winter is coming.
A couple weekends ago I had the opportunity to head out on the Mississippi River to run the gas out of the ol' kicker. The leaves hadn't quite yet turned at that point, but we did manage to find one nook in the bluffs that was fairly brilliant. Unfortunately it was a pretty crummy day, but it was great to get out there and breathe some fall air after inhaling nothing but nanoparticles for weeks.
