Baby Steps, Bob.
Poseidon, look at meeee.
I went sailboat racing the other day on Lake Minnetonka (As in the waters you should purify yourself in). It was absolutely gorgeous and absolutely chaotic. There are hundreds of boats out there and many fleets all racing at the same time. The start is easily the most extreme part, as everybody is sailing around trying to make sure that they cross the starting line exactly when the canon fires. Poor Emily didn't realize what she was getting herself into and wore flip-flops and white shorts. Both of us had pretty banged up knees by the time the race was over, with all the tacking, jibing, and yanking on the halyard. Unfortunately, as we neared the end, we had a equipment malfunction, as the gooseneck, which connects the boom to the mast, suddenly flew apart and we had to improvise. Knocked us pretty far back in the race, though.
But, man, that lake is amazing. It is like a different world. There are many bays, towns, bars, mansions, and large, large, large stacks of cash surrounding it. Just beefy.
Don't you e'er forget.
